Waimea Fish

Each summer here on the north shore of Oahu, bait fish sometimes form huge schools near the beach. It doesn't always happen though. It seems like every other year, if I think about it. At this time of the year, I'm often checking the conditions from day to day, just looking for it to be right for photographing. You don't want any swell and then the clouds so often can be a problem too. There's just a handful of days that are perfect for shooting. This was one of those days mid August 2008. This particular day was pretty cool because the fish weren't to worried about me swimming amongst them.
