 Self-effacing
and humble, Wade Koniakowsky
creates evocative, atmospheric
art that could only be
informed by a surfer’s
perspective. His work
transports the viewer to
dreamlike tropical lineups and
far-flung exotic island
locales. As a designer and
artist, Wade has judged
exhibits for Communication
Arts Magazine, been the
host speaker at The Artists
& Art Directors Club of
Sacramento and served on the
board of The American
Institute of Graphic Arts, San
Diego chapter. His work has
been featured in
Graphis, Art
Direction,
Communication Arts,
and Print magazines.
His work has been recognized
by the New York Art
Director’s Club, The Los
Angeles Advertising Club, and
The Clios. His art is
exhibited in galleries and
museums on the east and west
coast, in Hawaii, Puerto Rico,
and England.
