Mike
Lorenzini’s passion for
surfing was born in the raw,
frigid, beautiful and often
terrifying waters of the
Oregon Coast. He immediately
fell in love with the dynamic
movement of the water and its
hypnotic changing of forms and
colors. It didn’t take long
for him to develop a passion
for communicating this
experience through art. Mike’s
fascination with the total
aesthetic experience of
surfing is what drives his
work, and his paintings seek
to capture the mystical and
wild nature of the ocean. He
has traveled, painted and
surfed in several countries
around the world, and after a
3-year stint working and
surfing in Japan he’s back in
the Pacific Northwest. Mike's
work has been featured in
several publications, in
galleries throughout Oregon,
and can also be found in
several private collections in
the U.S. and Japan.
