Sunset

This is a portrayal of the inside reef at Sunset Beach, on the North Shore of Oahu. This wave begins as a very thick, heavy peak outside, and when it encounters the shallow inside reef, it pitches very hard and fast. I was inspired to do this painting after a trip to Hawaii in late 2005.

All prints are available in multiple sizes. They are offered on either canvas or on watercolor paper.
