Santa Ana

There were thirty knot Santa Ana's grooming this six foot winter wave when I shot it. It was 48º outside, and I had to hide behind a wood barrier with my 600mm lens to stay warm, and to keep my camera and myself, from blowing over.

David's work is available in multiple sizes, and are printed using Fuji Pearl Technologies. The prints use embedded pearl-like crystals to produce a high gloss reflectance, particularly in highlights, to enhance the warmth and depth of printed images, allowing for a higher color saturation.
