This is a spot in San Juan, Puerto Rico called Rocky Point. It is a slab of reef adjacent to Aviones, one of the island's most consistent waves. Rocky Point is usually an unsurfable dry reef suck out, but on rare occasions that have enough tide, just the right swell direction, and clean conditions Rocky Point can be a below sea level barrel. I was swimming one day at Aviones when I noticed a few nuggets coming through at Rocky Point, so on my way out of the water I took a few minutes to wait on a set.

Steve's work is available in multiple sizes and mediums. His canvas prints are limited edition of 50, signed and numbered by Steve himself!
