Path to Paradise is a result of wanting to create something totally serene and joyous. I composed this from three different shots. The wave is from the same beach, different day, the birds were from two separate shots from a bird sanctuary in Noyack, Long Island. My wife shot the bird on the right after it fed from my hand, I shot the one on the left after it ate out of my daughter's hand. The symbolism of the path, the birds and the wave are what makes this piece special to me. I came here to heal after 9/11. The ocean is my paradise.
