~ Octopus Umbrella ~ I began this piece by slowing gathering the impressions of tea bags on a blank canvas day after day. This piece was developed from images that formed within the tea stains and ink. We had a friend staying with us while I was creating this and it was fun because he would come and look at the progress at various times. He would share with me what he saw in the ink and tea bag prints, pointing out a gremlin, a dolphin, octopus, etc. We shared our visions and then I then elaborated in these areas so that other viewers could see our found images as well. This piece was composed using tea, coffee, acrylic paint, watercolor, ink, marker, and turpenoid. 18"H x 24"W Giclee...$250
