Images have, at times, the capacity to virtually place a viewer into a real-life situation, allowing him or her to become part of the event--to make it one's own. This quality of the photographic medium is very important to my work.

Technique: Polaroid-transfers originate from 35mm B&W negatives, which are printed (copied) onto orthochromatic
B&W film in the darkroom. The positive (orthochromatic film) is then inserted into the enlarger and printed onto 5"x4"
Polaroid-film, using different color-filters. The Polaroid is then processed and the chemical emulsion is transferred onto dampened fine
art-paper.

Limited edition of 33 prints/image. The edition is digitally reproduced as pigment prints of archival quality on Somerset Velvet, using Giclee Fine Art technique. They are reproduced in the 5"x4" format. The paper size is 15.75"x17.75".
