On our Sun, fusion result in raging storms of energy, continually sending off staggering amounts of radiation: waves of heat and light, into space. This energy, upon impact with the land, oceans and atmosphere of the Earth, render low pressures, which if conditions are right evolve into enormous spirals of whirling air. Creating what we love so much, waves.

Technique: Polaroid-transfers originate from 35mm B&W negatives, which are printed (copied) onto orthochromatic
B&W film in the darkroom. The positive (orthochromatic film) is then inserted into the enlarger and printed onto 5"x4"
Polaroid-film, using different color-filters. The Polaroid is then processed and the chemical emulsion is transferred onto dampened fine
art-paper.

Limited edition of 33 prints / image. The edition is digitally reproduced as pigment prints of archival quality on Somerset Velvet, using Giclee Fine Art technique. They are reproduced in the 5"x4" format. The paper size is 15.75"x17.75".
