This image is from one of the best shooting sessions I can remember. It was my first time to the Mentawais and for the first week and a half of the trip we had pretty much gotten skunked. We decided to make the last minute call to motor to Lance's, about a five-hour boat ride from where we were. When we got there, this is what we saw, each wave exactly like the previous. It's such an amazing wave, and I think this shot is a testimonial to the perfection and power of Lance's Right.
