Joseph has been an incessant draftsman since childhood, drawing on anything and constantly refining his language of visual communication. His work is energetic and alive, expressing his passion and respect for waves, and the confidence with his medium. His originals are large, painted on rough canvas, some are six by four feet. He mounts his canvas to the wall in order to interact with it, physically engaging it with his entire body. Joseph Dominguez lives and works from Cambria, California.

"There is a point as I am building the piece when it starts to take on a life of its own. That's when the medium and I start to exchange energy. That's when the dialogue becomes visual," said Joseph. "This piece is an exploration of texture and line. I bring my drafting influences such as old-school architectural renderings, coffee house sketches, Leonardo DaVinci's sketches, and my interpretation of moving water."

Joseph's work is available either un-stretched or as a gallery wrap. Both are printed on canvas. Both are sized at 20" X 25".
