Gold Afternoon

This was photographed on the very remote (Australian) atols. Known as the Cocos Keeling Islands, located underneath Sumatra, taken about 10 years ago. The whole place is really flat and it's quite hard to find any high vantage points for pictures like this. I climbed an old out of commission transmission tower to get this one shot. It was the single best image from the trip.
