Chris Oleata's The Wall

Punta Rosarito, "The Wall," is halfway down the Baja Peninsula--about eight hours south of the border. During the winter swells, when California is going off, "The Wall" picks up all the energy that California receives. In this painting, it is an icy cold, December morning with plenty of swell. I have scored it so many times looking like this--a dream dawn at "The Wall."
